Who am I?
I'm Saksham Kapur — a drummer, performer, and educator based in London. Playing since the age of 12, Rockschool Grade 8 trained, and toured across India with my former band. I specialise across rock, hip hop, jazz, R&B, and classical, because great drumming doesn't live in one box.

On Performance
Great performances start with rigorous practice but technique is only half of it. You have to be genuinely happy with the music you're playing, because your attitude reflects in every note. When a drummer is connected to the music, the audience feels it.
On Teaching
No two students are the same, so no two lessons are the same. I build every session around the individual learning something new each time and immediately putting it into practice, expanding your vocabulary on the kit progressively and naturally.
Beginners focus on technique and dynamics. More experienced players work on refinement, getting everything running like a well tuned engine.
My Teaching Style
I'm not interested in a stiff teacher-student dynamic. I want lessons to feel like a conversation between two people who love drums-friendly, open, and something you actually look forward to. When you're excited to learn, everything else follows.
